 Tristin is an energetic LPC Associate that is ready to work with individuals of all ages including children, adults, and couples to help guide them through whatever barrier is causing satisfaction in life to feel limited or out of reach.

Tristin uses a person centered approach in the counseling session to allow the client’s strengths and individuality to shine through. Other techniques that will be incorporated to assist in guiding the process will include Cognitive Behavioral therapy and Solution Focused therapy. Tristin believes that the client themselves are the expert on the experiences they have faced in life and hold the keys to the growth that they are seeking. She provides a genuine safe space to journey into the worldview of the client to better understand their perspective of their challenge at hand.

 Mindfulness is a large component of Tristin’s practice that assists in providing the client with foundational skills to manage stress and continue to pursue healing in the future when life may take a crazy turn. 

Tristin has worked with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, self image, trauma, and grief. Healing, progress and growth looks different for any individual that steps into the counseling room, and Tristin is ready to deliver personalized services for the uniqueness of every person that courageously takes this step on their healing journey. 

 Tristin Tice’s Professional Background

Tristin received her Masters in Arts in Clinical Mental Health at Sam Houston University and her undergrad in Sociology at Texas A&M University. She has experience with a wide range of populations including couples, individuals and children along with their parents. Tristin has worked the past year in community mental health outpatient clinics and has had the privilege to walk alongside clients in all different life stages to pursue healing, growth and other goals the client’s have personally set for themselves.
