Timilia Williams is an expertly skilled counseling professional with vast experience as a mental health professional and career coach. Her focus is in helping each client identify and achieve his or her personal and professional goals. She believes each person has the ability to realize their authentic truth in life by exploring their limiting beliefs, learned behaviors, and the pain of the past.

Her mission is to help her clients achieve the inner peace they seek by exploring an integration of healthy practices for the mind, body, and spirit. Using an eclectic and energetic therapeutic approach, Timilia is able to adapt to your needs by collaboratively establishing clear goals, providing professional insight, and supportive guidance.

Timilia specializes in anger management, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, shame, codependency, abandonment, career counseling/coaching, weight loss support, and relationship dynamics with individuals, couples and families. By creating a comfortable and trusting environment, Timilia takes the time to support you as she challenges you to walk into the uncertain and dark area of your life to make sense of the pain, as she believes this is the only way to healing.

Her combined experience and education of five years in mental health and six years in corporate human resources provides her with a well-rounded perspective and approach to the transitions of life. Realizing that what works for one person will not necessarily work for another, Timilia works to understand the true needs of the client and progress, at a reasonable pace, to achieve the established goals.

As an experienced career counselor and coach, Timilia understands the many transitions, demands, and pressures of the workplace. Through her experience, she can provide guidance for building assertive communication skills, creating empowering career plans, learning conflict management, and help develop quality leadership skills. In addition, as many millennials are entering the workplace or embarking upon entrepreneurship, she provides an empathetic environment to help establish life goals and develop a plan for success.

After graduating from Clark Atlanta University, in Atlanta Georgia, with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, she worked as a weight loss coach to help clients identify and realize their weight loss goals. This work stimulated a passion for helping promote others to live a holistically healthy lifestyle. She later moved back home, to Dallas, and graduated with her Master of Arts from Dallas Baptist University to become a licensed counselor.
