Lifestyle Eating and Performance (LEAP) disease management program is designed and intended to remediate the symptoms of patients suffering from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), migraine headache, fibromyalgia, and other food sensitivity disorders. LEAP provides a patient-specific approach utilizing an MRT blood test to identify food and chemical hypersensitivities as well as an individualized diet plan to reduce inflammation and symptoms from these foods.

What is LEAP Nutrition?

Working alongside a Certified LEAP Registered Dietitian, you will begin an elimination diet based on the results of the MRT blood test. Implemented in 6 phases, the diet change eliminates all symptom-causing foods without guesswork.

The MRT blood test examines 150 foods and chemicals to identify which are causing a non-IgE mediator reaction. This meaning that these reactions are not causative of food allergies, but rather hypersensitivities. It is these sensitivities that may be causing negative and often painful symptoms. The LEAP program is designed for those who have been suffering from IBS, migraine headaches and fibromyalgia for too long and want to enjoy life without dealing with the miserable symptoms that accompany these disorders.

Digestive complaints, headaches, joint and muscle pains, fatigue, weight imbalances, and many other symptoms can be related to your diet. If your symptoms are related to your diet, then a dietary-based approach needs to be taken in order to improve your health.

Noyau Wellness nutrition experts work to help you overcome these debilitating illnesses and reach your optimal level so that you can create the healthy and fulfilling life they deserve.

What to Expect:

The first step is an initial consultation with a Noyau Nutrition expert. Together you will decide if and how the LEAP nutrition program can work for you. Next, you will make an appointment that fits into your schedule to have your blood drawn and sent off for Mediator Release Testing (MRT). Results of your MRT will be sent directly to our Nutrition office where your Nutritionist will devise a meal plan to eliminate these foods and chemicals from your diet. Next, you will meet with your Nutrition expert to learn the results and devise a strategy for achieving your health goals. You will also set up your follow up consultation appointments to ensure all of your needs are met and the meal plan continues to be successful. Gradually, foods may be added and changed throughout the course of the program as your internal functioning continues to heal. Throughout the entire process, our staff is there for support, encouragement, and motivation. At Noyau Wellness we know the difficulty that comes with making major life changes. We understand the confusion and conflict that can occur when we are making changes that we know are good for us, that we want, yet still struggle to achieve. In addition to a testing, nutrition education and meal planning, Noyau offers emotional support from trained Professional Counselors and Life Coaches, ensuring you are treated body AND mind.
